Sweet, Bitter, sour or salty

 Aim: it is Sweet, Bitter, Sour or salty 

Today we were doing testing 

What you need

1. Paper 

2. Blindfold

3. Recording chart 

4. Ice cream stick  

Method: 

1. Get safety gasses and make a blindfold.

2. Set up your chart and make sure that the person you are working with knows where to record your response 

3. Using an ice- cream stick you will dip in into the sample. Once the sample is on the stick you will taste it and tell your partner your response  

4. There will be 2 answers 

5. At taste test one you need to hold your nose

Answer 1 is it sweet,sour,salty or bitter. record it

Answer 2 What do you think it is. Record it

6. Repeat this for tje next samples but you will only need to use your ice-cream stick taster for samples 1-4

Because the Olympics is on at the moment we are working on tasks about the Olympics so my friend Tori and I so we did, If Christchurch were to hot the Olympics in the future, what would the Logo look like?

Science Again

 The Bunsen burner 

Method:

1. Get your Bunsen burner out of the tray

2. Bring it out of the tray and set it out

3. Set the Bunsen burner to the gas pipe

4. Get your safety glasses 

5. Turn on the gas

Equipment needed 

1. Bunsen burner 

2. Safety glasses 

3.Heat mat

4.Tripod 

5. Gauze Mat

1. The hottest part of the flame is the inner flame.

2. The order of lighting a Bunsen burner is light the match first then turn on the tap.

1. Where is the broken glass put? In the white bin in the science room 

2. How do you stop all class gas? you push the button that says gas Emergency stop.

3. Where is the fire extinguisher? by the exit door. 

4. When should you wear safety glasses? When you are working around fire.

 Hey guys today 

After the three weeks my group Olivia, Divine, Hannah and Michaela (me)

We had lots of fun making it.

We worked really hard on the clay to make the stop motion . I am in the stop Motion but I worked  really hard to make it look good.

Mufti Day

 Good morning or afternoon 

Today is is mufti day we have to put a gold coin donation the donation will go to Graeme Dingle Foundation they run awesome programmes for our school.

Some people had to go to Miss Tozer to get a gold coin, but Miss Tozer was not there.
