Kupe and the giant Wheke

 Hey Amazing readers

Today I am talking about the Kupe and the giant Wheke, hope you enjoy

This week, we read about a legendary character called Kupe who found his fishing lines were empty because they were covered in slime and the giant octopus eat all of the food

Main characters in the story are Kupe, his wife Hine -Te-Aparangi and Muturangi the owner of Te Wheke, the giant octopus

Kupe said he would kill Muturangi’s pet, Te Wheke. After that, the following things happened: Kupe and their children got on the waka with food and plenty of water and they brought a dog Tauaru and some warrior’s to join. They sailed far out to sea and dropped their fishing line to tempt Te Wheke to come closer. For weeks they chased T Wheke, Hine-Te-Aparangi saw something unusual. A long white cloud. It must be land! Everyone was tired after the long journey, but wily te Wheke slipped out of his cave during the night and escaped. Even though the octopus has been on the run for week, he was still strong and quick. Kupe lean't over the side as far as he could and smashed Te Wheke with his mere, right between the eyes. WIth a tremendous shudder, Te Wheke fell limp. Finally, the giant octopus was dead

In the end, two major things happened. Hine-Te-Aparangi saw something unusual. It was Aotearoa AND Te Wheke was killed by Kupe.

Cyber-bullying

 Hey Reader's

Today's Blog is about Cyber-bullying something we've been working on in class this week.

Information I studied about Cyber-bullying included Traditional bullying how cyber-bullying can make people suicide. Cyber-bullying is a lot harder to deal with then bullying in real life. You can get a fine for doing cyber-bullying up to $5,000 - $2000,000 and go to prison up to six mouths. It can be shared quickly spreed across the internet and leaves a permanent record .

Here are some images to illustrate my work. I hope you like them and also my content. Please leave a comment that will hopefully encourage me to continue Blogging and improvements where necessary
