My Times Tables

These two weeks  I have been doing maths,  and in my math I have been  doing time tables. In my slides there are 34 page in the slide and I have dane them all in a week. I have one thing to show you how to do it.

   

Bionic Arm - Richard's Visit

In 2019 Miss Taylor's husband came in. He had a bionic arm. Last year he had a hook, but I was not in there then. He can twist it all the way around it was creeped me out.  Then  he hit it against the chair and it fell off his arm I covered my eyes. At the end we got to shake his hand. it made me feel awkward.

Home learning - House

We have to make a blog post of the thing that you would want to save in your house, if it was on fire.  You can't include family members, your friends and animals. This is what I would pick chromebook, pillow and turtle my toy, because they are my favorite stuff in my house that are mine.

This is what my mum would pick. Laptop because it has all the  photos, box full of important documents and purse.

FRIDAY & our respnes.

On Friday the 22/3/19 we dressed up in bright colours. We had a heart that we put our money on. Senior leaders Julia, Parwin and Jedi counted up the money once everyone in the school had put their coins down.We had $454.00 dollars that people bought to school. We made painting, drawings, word art, animation, and quotes, then we had to stand on the court for 2 minute silence. The other class did not do response work. We had to stand and show the other class our response work.

Home learning - Three little pigs

I have to design a house for the three little pigs.  I don't want to do it in picture, I want to it in writing. I  have eight rooms in their treehouse. The first   room is the kitchen it has all the things you need in a kitchen. Room two the luwng it has a tv, fire and a coffee table. The third room is the laundry it  would have a washing machine, senk and a shelf. The fourth room  the bathroom it would have a shower, bath   and a senk. the fifth room the toilet room it would  have a toilet and a senk. The sixth room would  be a bedroom it would have a bed, bedside table, a  wardrobe and toys. The seventh room is a bedroom, it would have the same thing that was in the first bedroom. The eighth bedroom would have the same thing in the two bedrooms. My house would be made out of metal, my windows are made out of glass.  All the rooms look like a tree, they have wallpaper on them with trees on them.  As my house is high up in a tree, I can see all the houses below me. 

Anzac Tuck

 In 2019 Charles dad brang the Anzac truck to school,  same people didn't get to go in the truck the year 7 and 8s. Same people that didn't want to go in the truck the people that were doing   there super hero project. I went to see the truck, I went into the truck there was a bed. I got  sit in the drivers seat it was so cool.

The truck was special because it had any painting.

New classroom books

In 2019 my classroom got new books. We got two boxes, they were filled to the top with books! Two people were drawn at random to open the boxes, one opened one box and the other opened the other box. One box was big and the other box was small, we had two class photos of us holding the books. We love your books! we have started reading them. They were chapter books.


     

Home Learning - The moon

If I went to the moon with two story characters I would take Humpty Dumpty and Little Red Riding hood. I would take them because they are my favorite characters. This is what I imagine what we would do:

When we got to the moon we had lunch, the food was floating in the stars and the dark sky. When we had finished our lunch we played on the moon. I was jumping and handstanding on the  moon. We got tired very quickly. We had a sleep and we woke up, with  lots of energy we were playing for ever and ever and ever. The space ship was floating away so Humpty Dumpty and Little Red Riding Hood, held on to my strap and I grabbed the space ship. Then we headed home, it was a fun trip we have to do it again.

Super Hero Project

Every Thursday the year 7 and 8  are at manual and the year 5 to 6  are at school doing your  super hero project we had to create a super hero on our chromebook and copy them.

Deserted island

If I was an a deserted island with nothing  on it, the three things I would want is food, water and trees. Food so I can eat, water to drink and trees so I can breath.  I asked my dad what 3 thing he would want and he said food to keep him alive, water to keep him hydrated and his wife for company.



so we had thought of two of the same things!

Elgregoe the magician

 on 6/3/19  Elgregoe the magician came to  Yaldhurst model school in the morning.  He did his tricks in TP.  Year 1 to 6 saw Elgregoe the magician. The year  7 and 8 didn't see Elgregoe they did some work in the classroom. All the tricks I did not know, my friend knows them, we sat at the  back, last time I sat in the front. It was fun my favorite trick was when he put Sue his partner  into the box and lowered it down. I was surprised!  I am in the oldest class, Rimu. We had to put our hand up if we wanted to go  up, and  do some tricks with him and get prizes at the end. We stayed there until the end but that was a hour away, at the end we walked back to our class and went out  to break.
