Aim: To separate colours by using the process of Chromatography
Paper Chromatography Experiment
Definition: is a method of separating out materials form a mixture.
Materials:
1.Test tube
2.water
3. Chromatography paper
4.coloured felts
5. test tube rack
Process
Step 1 Make a mark at the 1 cm line on the Chromatography paper.
Step 2 Make a dot on that line with the coloured felts
Step 3 Fill the test tube with water about 1.5cm
Step 4 Put our paper in the water just a little bit then fold the paper.
Step 5 Then the coloured dot turns into a line.
Step 6 Tip the water out at the end
