SLJ - day 2 Activity 1 Giants Among Us
I want to go to Tane Mahuta because it looks beautiful, my mum and dad as been there. It has nearly been there for 2,000 years and still growing. It's 18 metres to the first branch and 4.4 metres in diameter, I was surprised to find out this information!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Kia ora Michaela,
ReplyDeleteWow! What did your parents tell you about it? I was actually raised in Northland but unfortunately I haven't been to see Tāne Mahuta. It's definitely on my bucket list though. Are there any other places in New Zealand that you'd like to visit? I was recently in Queenstown and I was blown away by how beautiful the lakes and mountains are down there. They don't have any giant kauri trees but I still thought it was a pretty amazing place. Have you been?
Well done on completing another activity, Michaela. I can't wait to read your next post! :)
Happy blogging!
