Home learning - ways to make 25

On my blog today I have to make 25 in sums with a parent ... Mine is mum because she picks me and my sister  up from school. That is how I do my homework with mum.

Futsal

On 10/4/19 the year 5 and three year 6 went out to futsal. It was fun at the start but hopeless at the game at the end because I got to sweaty. It was not fun because I had to tip water on my head at the end.

                                   

Gumboot Day Friday!!!!!!!

On Friday April 5th people wore their gumboots to school. I did not have gumboot's but mum, my sister and I drove to number one shoe to get gumboots. All of NZ wore gumboots to school.

This is how much money we raised $141.30 in our school. Same people went to student summit. 

This is why we have gumboot day Gumboot Friday aims to raise $2 million towards helping youth to access counselling. Last year 137 young New Zealanders took their own lives.

Home learning - Reading.

 So what I have to do is make  a author, title and a summary of a book I have just finished, for my home learning. I can link here and Here to, these are the home learning blogs I have done.

This is the book title Rosie the perfect pony, the author is Pippa Funnell and the summary

This story starts with a girl called Tilly who really wants a pony of her own.  She rides ponies at the Silver Shoe Farm which is also a school.  She has two best friends called Cally & Mia.

Cally is moving away  eventually from the Silver Shoe Farm to a place far, far away  called Dubai, because her dad is moving jobs and his boss insisted him to go.  Cally is crying and very upset as she does not want to move away from her friends and home.   When Cally tells her friends Tilly and Mia she is moving, they are very anxious as they do not want her to move.
Her dad buys Tilly the pony, Rosie for her, she is so excited she wants to burst!!!!!!!
  A boy called Brook comes to teach Tilly how to ride  Rosie properly so even though she is feeling very sad about Cally moving, she has mixed emotions as she is also excited about her new pony.

I really enjoyed reading this book and I recommend it to my friend Bella because she likes ponies to.  

Silent Colouring In!!!!!!

On Friday my class did a silent colouring, we had to be silent and sit one person away.  I was sitting in the computer alley at the end. Since we have our own pencil  cases we had them  to colour in with. The student council  made these colouring. Instead of silent reading this is what we did. I enjoyed silent colour because you can chose the colouring and for book you have to stay on them intel you are finished.
